Chocolate Cake and an Aid Shipment from Australia in 20ft Container
We were finally able to do a big provisioning shop on Sunday, which included some baking equipment and ingredients (funny how you take the basics for granted till you don't have them).
Mary has never done any baking, so I invited her and young Chris to come and help me make a cake - Chris's favourite is chocolate. Fortunately it turned out very well, and here is Chris proudly holding our combined effort.
A shipping container arrived at PCV Head Office last week, and today it got unpacked. There were medical supplies, both for the dental/eye clinic at PCV and for the hospital, there were a few children's bikes, wooden crutches and a wheelchair, soft toys, tools and hardware, and goodness knows what else. It all got sorted before the rain came through thank goodness. A heavy shower is a daily occurrence over the last few days.
