Keeping Port Vila Tidy and Flags Around Port Vila

Down the side of the main street through the shopping area of Port Vila the municipality has installed new rubbish bins.  There were not may bins on the main street before these were installed.  

They have only just been installed.  In fact they are so new that they haven't finished the installation with the inside liners to the bins as the concrete sets, and people are already using the bins, and the rubbish just drops straight through onto the ground beneath the bin.

Thank you to the Port Vila Municipality for installing the bins.

The Vanuatu people support the World Cup (football), and have their favourite teams they support.  There was a parade through the streets of Port Vila yesterday.  The TV coverage is on the national free to air channel.
