Building Progress at the Flat
The new ground floor flat is nearing completion, and stairs have been poured for access to the upper floor level.
George the builder is supervising the pouring of a cantilevered beam to support the top end of the stair.
The formwork for the underside of the stair is Masonite board.
Two lids for the septic tank,
 personalised by family and workers.
The stair formwork all complete ready for the concrete.
A concrete trim is poured to the top edge of the septic tank.
 Stairs all done.
No balustrade yet of course. Looking from the back of the flat towards the front gate.
Meanwhile, while I have been gallivanting all over the island, Martyn has been steadily plowing through the accounts. He is making progress but it is a BIG JOB.
