John and Rose Visit and We all Dodge a Bullet
(Sounds like a good title for a Famous Five story!)

With TC Donna bearing down on us and all flights cancelled, John and Rose Redshaw have sought shelter with us from yesterday (Monday) till Friday. They are here for mission work through Crossing Cultures International, and just happen to be Jai's Dad and Step-mum - Jai is our youngest daughter Nicola's partner. So they are virtually family. They were supposed to fly to Santo on Monday but couldn't.
We did a quick juggle of all our 'stuff' in the spare bedroom and tried to find places for all their wet gear as it was hosing down when they arrived. We had damp washing draped around the living area all day as with 94% humidity it was just not drying.
We put John and Rose to work to pay for their board and lodging!
This morning (Tuesday) the weather is looking a lot better, TC Donna moved further away during the night, and we are able to get dried out. Hoping she won't do a U-turn and come back at us.
Thank you for all the prayers for our safety and that of the people of Vanuatu. Unfortunately it looks like New Caledonia is in Donna's sights now so please don't forget them.
Martyn is back at work today but I'm home - all my projects are on hold at the moment anyway so might as well have the day off while many businesses are still closed.
